Sandwich with homemade bread

I'm not a fans of sandwich and thus, it doesn't cross my mind to spend in Subway. Not even once a year. However, this is the easiest one, if you have to prepare meal for kids in a lazy afternoon. To make sandwich appears more sumptuous to me, I bake my own bread. At least this should motivate my taste buds.

To bake a loaf of bread with my bread machine doesn't require much skills as well as effort. Here is the recipe and time requires is 3 hrs in total.

I did it the nite before and the only challenging part is to cut the bread into even slices. It requires good motor skill. :-)

I always stock up canned tuna as it can goes well with bread or Jacob crackers. Now, I'd easily take out one from my cabinet, diced in onions, sandwich spreads & a handful of raisins. I'll toss in toasted sunflower/pimpkin seeds or almond nibs (if I do prepared some earlier). Lastly, add in a slice of cheese, cut it into small pieces with spoon.

I prefer tuna spread to goes with toasted bread. To enhance the taste, spread some salted butter on the bread before toasting.

You will see kids licking their fingers, asking when to have it again. Spoil them further with a cup of hot chocolate, and you will make them smiling from cheek to cheek
